TO-RICO's KWAY CHAP @ Old Airport Road - BEST KWAY CHAP

Previously located at Blanco Court Food Centre (3rd Storey), now located at Old Airport Road Food Centre.
This is the kway chap that I would make the utmost effort to travel from North to East for!
No doubt the BEST I have eaten and tasted! Even better than those Lu Rou I had I had in Taiwan!!
When I was away in France, THIS was the meal that I missed THE MOST!

The never-ending queue seems to be the best indication at how marvellous this really is hehe
Prices are also friendly to the pocket since it's not located at, yknow in town?

These pieces of pig intestines and whathaveyou have been so cleverly and delicately sliced
coupled with the most savoury and yummiest sauce ever (gawd I'm gonna get a kidney failure)! Every piece of braised pork gets immersed and bathed in that savoury sauce (i'd bathe in that) so each bite you get would eventually have the sauce bursting in your mouth.

Enough with the sauce, the meat itself is so fresh, soft, tender and tasty!! you'd be asking for more!
Which is why, gx and I would always order a portion for 4 people hehehe

$17 for a mixed plate for 4 person + Big Kway and small kway
The chilli is also one of the main factor swhy this deserves to be crowned best kway chap in my heart hahaha how this chilli complements the braised pork innerts and meat is just beyond words. Not too spicy to mask the savoury braised taste but just the right amount of spiciness to enhance the flavours.

Do head down to OAR and give this a try if you're there :)

Fun fact: "This kway chap stall is named after a south american location where the owner wants to remind of the tough food scene in the old day" (via: http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/to_ricos_guo_shi/)
