School has been great so far. Have made lots of friends - singaporeans, americans and french alike.
Beginning this exchange alone has made me stepped out of my comfort zone, changeed my perspective of people, of life and allowed me to explore and find myself a little more.
Haven't been able to blog (which I promised I would) 1) wifi in the hostel doesnt work at all so I can only use the wifi in school 2) school is about 15mins walk from our hostel.
There's practically nothing much to do in Troyes at night because almost EVERYTHING closes at 5pm even like the supermarkets and the buses stop working at like 730pm?!
For the past 11 days, it has been nothing short of wonderful.
Troyes is a pretty and quaint little town - a suburb of france. It's typically famous for the outlet stores (DIE) hehe
the centre of troyes city - the view from our seats when we always tap wifi from the cafe opposite LOL |
Lunch in one of the cafeteria (yum) |

Day 1: The sent off.
Tristan + some vball girls + family came to send me off <3 p="">Met Eunice to take the plane tgt and Zulaikha, Nila and Natalie were on the same flight as well.
These were my first friends :)
Stopover at Dubai > reached Paris feeling exhausted yet excited > waited for close to 7 hours in the airport for everyone to reach the meeting point before we could set off in the coach to Troyes. > reached Troyes in 3hours and everyone was just deadbeat. Due to the time difference, I haven't slept for >24 hours since the time I left Singapore.
